In the regular course, members of the St. Margaret of Castello Chapter in Boise attend the monthly Chapter meeting, typically held on the third Saturday of each month at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Boise, Idaho, U.S.A.
Each postulant and novice in formation is responsible to work and communicate with the Distance Formation Director relating to their personal formation process. Every candidate is free to communicate with the prior or prioress as the need may arise.

For those who want to be formed as a Third Order member of the lay Fraternity of St. Dominic, in addition to being formed in accordance with the Rule and the Chapter's formation process, may be formed virtually under the Chapter's "distance formation" program based on the following standards:
1. Reside approximately a minimum of two to three hours driving distance from Boise, Idaho; and, not within reasonable distance of a separate Chapter in the Western Province.
2. Attend the Chapter personally at a minimum of 1 time per year, on the day of Professions (typically held in October of each year at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Boise, Idaho); plus make a firm priority to personally attend the Chapter's annual retreat.
3. Firm priority of attending Chapter meetings consistently on a virtual basis, typically in Zoom; having read and studied the readings, if any, for the meeting, and to participate and engage in the Chapter meeting.
4. Communicate through and with the Distance Formation Director, as to formation matters, and coordination and questions as for formation; and to personally confirm the participant's virtual or personal attendance has been recorded in the Chapter's attendance records.
5. Where possible and from time to time, to attend the Chapter meetings in person.
